Screenwriter, Director and teacher
Erik was born 1985 and grew up in Linkoping, Sweden. Since 2006 he is based in Stockholm. With his production company, Envis Film, he has written, directed and co-produced fiction films, which has aired in several filmfestivals in Sweden and across Europe. They have been distributed by SVT, Filmcentrum and TriArt.
He’s s also worked as assistant director, casting director and has produced concert videos, art videos and commercials. He’s been working as filmteacher and has held more than 300 workshops at more than 90 schools across Sweden. At present time he teaches several courses at Folkuniversitetet in Stockholm.
He has an exam from Kulturama Film School 2006-2008 and from Alma Screenwriting 2016-2018. In 2014 he received the STHLM Debut award for his feature film project ”Barn av sin tid” and in 2020 he received Anders Sandrews Stiftelse award for his project ”Dagdrivare”.
